The cryogenic liquid storage tank is mainly composed of a tank body, a pipe instrument system, accessories and a booster. The tank structure is a jacketed vacuum container, which is composed of an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder. The inner cylinder is made of austenitic stainless steel, and the outer cylinder is made of carbon steel.
The guarantee of the insulation performance of the low-temperature storage tank mainly depends on the vacuum degree of the interlayer. Therefore, when using medium and low temperature liquid storage tanks, the abnormal problems that occur are often related to the quality of the vacuum to a large extent.
Due to the special structure of the cryogenic liquid storage tank, the main pressure-bearing part is the inner cylinder without manholes, and the outer cylinder is under negative pressure. The inner cylinder cannot be inspected during the inspection. Therefore, its regular inspection should focus on the outer cylinder, accessories and environmental inspection.
